An itinerary for an unforgettable weekend... My maid of honor sent me an edited version, leaving the cost section blank and inserting "somewhere," so that I would be surprised with the plans! 

To welcome the girls I ordered each girl a monogrammed tumbler (click for Etsy listing) filled with a mini liquor bottle, chap stick and note from me :) 

Friday night all the girls wore black and I wore white...

Saturday night I wore a sparkly dress and all of the girls looked amazing, bright and neon! 

Sunday night we didn't coordinate but everyone looked like a rainbow it was awesome!

The weekend was unforgettable and I owe my maid of honor and bridesmaids who were able to be there so much credit and an amazing thank you.  Everything was so organized and everyone had the time of their life.  I love you!! 

Bridal Shower!

The perfect bridal shower hosted by my incredible maid of honor and bridesmaids...

The first step in planning a bridal shower is (the only planning the girls let me in on ; ) ) choosing a location and the guest list.  I was so happy with the location for this bridal shower - modern, intimate, and right around the corner from where I live.  Since I am having another shower, the guest list for this shower included all of my close girl friends - growing up and college. 

The invitation sets the tone for the event and Courtney, my MOH, did an incredible job making the invitation!  I LOVE the colors! :) 

   

The centerpieces were a joint effort between my bridesmaid Laura and my mom!  They were adorable and personalized, which I loved!  

The favors were perfect - adorable mini wine bottles with personalized labels!  Thank you to my bridesmaid Christina and bff Lauren for assembling the favors!

Bridal Showers are for being showered with love and that was definitely the case with this group of fun, loving ladies! 

To thank my bridesmaids, I wrote each of them a note and gave them their wedding day clutch and jewelry.  I worked with a local woman who hand made each piece.  I love how each set of earrings is unique - just like each girl!

It is becoming more and more common today for couples to have longer engagements.  This means couples book venues over one year in advance.  Tyler and I have exactly one year to plan, so securing our venue is very important to us.  We met with the wedding planners at Irondequoit Country Club and fell in love.  The grounds at the country club are stunning which will make a gorgeous backdrop for pictures!  ICC is the perfect choice for Tyler and I!
